hmmm.. I don't know either...
I collect the J.B. JL cars, 2 things I notice...
those wheels definetly make them James Bond 1...
thought there were 10 cars in J.B. 1...I only see 8 pictured there... ooooo, i get it... there were 2 Astin Martin DB5's and 2 Lotus'.. so no need to put out doubles when they would both be gold anyway

Hi All,

I've only seen one other set like these. They were on the wall in display cases at PM Headquarters. I saw them back in 2003 the day before LF. I asked about them and was told that there were three sets made to display at some of the trade shows and that they were not mass produced. Darn ! I really wanted the Mustangs. Hope this info helps.

Only 3 sets made? I guess They do Stop the Presses, change things, all just for one or three cars? and then its back to production as usual. Sounds weird- hmmm,,,,
I do know the Db5 has a Chrome version that was a Kb Exclusive, so thats one application- has any of the other cars ever showed up in a chrome set of some kind? Anyone know?
