Unhappy Warning Buying Props from Ron Shanko

Hello,

Just wanted to share my last experience with Star Trek Prop Maker Ron Shanko.

April 2012 I paid Ron $250.00 each to make me 2 Star Trek TOS Mid Grade PhaserII props (Cash paid up front by Postal Money Order), Ron agreed to build them & deliver them in 30 days. 90 days later after asking about status once monthly I received the first phaser. By September 2012 I had still not received the 2nd phaser, all I got were excuses. I informed Ron, I was completely dissatisfied with his service and wanted my $250.00 for the 2nd Phaser refunded, Ron agreed to send refund by end of September. Refund never came, contacted Ron 2 months later by email wanting status of my refund. Ron's reply was anything but professional, in nice terms I was told to pound sand. July 2013 now, I never received my refund, he stole $250.00 from me. I have heard from others that have lost far more money then I dealing with him. Buyers beware.
