Bunch of TH's and a couple of other HW

Ok so here are a few regular hunts that I have multiples of that I'd be willing to trade for others I don't have.

Here are a couple of mainlines from a few years ago that I'm not attached to. There I also a gto garage in there too.
The Gto weighs a ton and looks like it had the rivets soldered at the factory. It is super heavy.

It is still sealed from the factory. I've never seen anything like it before or felt anything that weighed as much

Let me know via pm what you have if interested.

I guess the GTO would make a good track car! Wonder what happened to the rubber tires though.

it's a repack, someone took off the base, swiped the axles and tires, then soldered the base on with cheapie tires.

Take that GTO back and get your money back as its been flipped .... Junk Car now as its been tampered with and worth nothing.... Not even worth a trade.

Sorry to see many people get taken by that trick

That's a new low in the return game, took it just for the tires and rims, took the time to switch it out, solder it, return it, net profit on this..most likely lost money..the reason it weighed so much ..loook at those blobs of solder..

People do that? How did they get the card off and back on so perfectly?
It sure would make a great gravity racer. Thing weighs half a pound.
It's not even worth taking back. Not even worth the 6 block walk at lunch to Kmart. They only charge me like .32 cents for it. All the garage cars were on clearance.

Thanks or the info though. Now I know what to look for. I've never heard of such a thing. For hotwheels tires? Really? That's a lot of effort.

For how much I like to share how a person can detach the plastic bubble from the card without a trace. Too many people lurk on here who do not collect and will learn how to do the trick. Its pretty easy and yes, a person would never know that the car was ever tampered with afterwards in knowing how.

HobbyTalk Forum is a open forum to the Net, so anyone who is just lurking will have no problem clicking on here and learn how, thats why i rather not explain the details on the open board.

Its def. been flipped as it has plastic wheels .... I can see from the pic that the card has been re-glued ... Sloppy job IMHO by a trained eye which the employee didnt have that day of the return.

No problem. I'm glad you exercise the restraint. I'd prefer fewer people know how to do it as well and certainty wasn't looking for a tutorial, but it sounds like they just glue it back on. Crazy. Never even knew that existed or there was a reason to do that.

Sounds like a shady way to do all sorts of things mixing and matching. Arghh. More dumb stuff in this work to look out for. I'll stay away from that Kmart in the city now do sure. Sounds like it has shady guys cruising the aisles
