I have never been one to beg for much nor offer up personal stuff to my slot car community but I feel I must this time because it hits home to me. On Sunday afternoon, an EF5 tornado leveled half of Joplin Missouri killing at least 123 so far. They are still searching and at last report there are another 1500 people unaccounted for. My sister and her husband were huddled in a bathroom while there house was torn apart. They lived 3 blocks west of the hospital that was hit. My brother who lives a few blocks east was home and had his house lifted up and twisted on its foundation. While it is still standing, there are no windows left and it will have to be inspected to see if it is safe to still live there. They both lost their vehicles. My other 2 siblings who live there were not affected and are fine. I am not asking for personal help for them, they are still in shock and are struggling with things but they will be fine. What I am asking is to please give to the Red Cross. The Canton Ohio paper printed this article:

I lived in Joplin for 4 years and am just numb seeing the pictures. My old high school is destroyed, along with all the other school buildings in town. There are thousands without a place to live or work now. Please give something.
