The Hobby Wing season opener warm up race was held this past weekend in Shanghai at the TRS Junti Speedway and brought together more than 45 drivers from Shanghai and nearby cities of Nanjing and Hangzhou. The featured 11.5 stock class A-Main race saw some exciting action from top drivers in China. 13-year-old JJ Wang driving his HB TCX battled fellow HB factory driver and current Chinese National Champion Wang Hai Feng in breathtaking 8 minutes of non-stop pressure driving in the first 2 finals. JJ prevailed and won 2 finals out of 3 to take the race win. Coming in third was Tamiya Driver and current Chinese National Junior Champion Lu Jun Qiao. Source: HB/HPI China
