Gosh, Golly, Wow Batman!

Adam West and the 1966 TV series Batmobile were at the Steel City Con Show about two weeks ago. I dug out my JL Batmobile and Batboat and took a couple of pictures. These are JL kits that screw together. The line was very long for Adam West's autograph, even at $60, and an additional $60 for a picture with Adam West. The autographed notebook isn't mine, but the two Batman cards are mine. The Batman cards are dated 1966.

HTF version of a 1966 Batman notebook (front).

Rear of notebook.

Front of 1966 Batman card (#45).

Rear of 1966 Batman card (#45).

Front of 1966 Batman card (#47).

Rear of 1966 Batman card (#47).

Thanks for the look.

All I got was an Adam West handshake in 1967 when I was just a 12 year old kid.

A handshake from Adam West would probably cost you $60 now Al.

I have a couple of Batman button pins from 1966. Never met Adam West. $60 a pop certainly shows a difference from the days when he wasn't able to get work due to the Batman TV show. That was a real shame.

I had a 1966 Batman pin Robert (wish I still had it). It was a large pin that had Batman and Robin on it in comic book form.

Please post a pic of Batman pin if you know where it is.

Just happen to have them nearby--as any true Bat-Fan should. Does the top one look like the one you had? It's pretty big, about 4 inches or so across. Someone once told me these were worth a few bucks, but I never checked around to see exactly how much.

I got a great Studo print of Batman and Robin in the Futura Batmobile. (Gift from Dragnetsupporter long ago) I'd love to have it signed and framed. That would be real cool.

Which of course is exctly why he is now peddling his signature. I agree it's a shame.

Thanks for posting the picture of your Batman pins Robert.

Yes!......The top pin is the one I had. I never saw the bottom pin.

Here's a pic of a Batman sign that is dated 1989 (when the new Batman movie was released). It was hanging on a wall in my basement, but I took it down and put the JL Batmobile and Batman figure on it for size comparison.

Here's a custom '66 BM I did. With a little help of a wheel swap by Lummox.
