Yea I know Concrete Trucks don't have sleepers but when I drove Mixer I could have used one with a camping toilet and maybe a nap from time to time. I used the MBX RWR Mixer and a Custom Convoy. Now to figure out paint and details!
Awesome .... This is for that serious Concrete Truck Driver.
I drove a Front Loader Garbage Truck for 10+ years and wish I had a
sleeper on my Truck during some down time when being broke down
waiting for a Tow Truck on the side of the road.
I was looking at the finished photos of this truck this morning (in another post). I went back to review the build process in this thread and just wanted to post one comment....
You have opened my eyes to concrete trucks in general!
I have never paid any attention to these types of trucks at all. Now, because of your amazing work in this field, I look at everyone I see on the road. I find they are freaking cool, and can't believe that I never noticed them before.
So I just wanted to say thanks for the education and all the great builds you share here on Hobby Talk!

Ward
Right ON! My pleasure Ward. I love these Trucks Too! I started my Concrete career driving a mixer. 18 years now! They are very different in some states and countries. I modeled this one after a McNealius rear discharge mixer like we commonly use here in California. I no longer drive mixer we own and operate a Concrete Pump now. I could talk forever about Mixers and pumps. A lot of people could care less but Concrete is a product that everybody needs and uses!
P.S. If i were you I wouldn't drive too close to these monsters. They are sketchy to say the least! Super top heavy and they don't always stop too fast either! Not to mention some of the ya-hoos they let drive anymore!
I've noticed that...on both accounts! I came up on a HUGE pumper yesterday and looked like a fighter jet moving around Air Force 1 to do a visual. I moved all around that truck (staying a lane away to see it better). It was freakin' cool. And like I said, had it not been for you I would have never given it a passing (pun?) thought!
