CRCRC Annual Halloween Trophy Race Oct 30, 2010

CRCRC Annual Halloween Electric Off-Road Trophy Race

Saturday October 30, 2010

This year only an electric race will be held, and it will be held on Saturday by popular request to allow more out of town racers to attend. Last year's event had 154 entries, check out the race coverage from last years event HERE.

To support the trophies, the race fees will be slightly increased from the club program to $18 first entry, $7 second entry, $5 all additional entries, per racer. Trophies will be handed out for first through fifth in all classes. CRCRC is planning a completely fresh track layout for this race.

There will be ample practice time on Saturday morning before the race, track opens at 8AM, Racing starts at 11AM. In addition, there will be an open practice held Friday night 6-10PM (Friday night practice is $5 per racer).

Electric Classes:

Open Buggy
Open Truck
Open 4wd
17.5 Buggy
17.5 Truck
Open 2wd SCT
Open 4wd SCT
17.5 SCT
Rookie

If you have questions, post here, PM me, or send e-mail to secretary@crcrc.com

Finally, CRCRC will also be holding a regular club race on Sunday after the Halloween race if you want to make a weekend of it...normal club race fees $15/$5, but if you race on Saturday your second entry on Sunday will be free.

I'll be there for sure. Hopefully finally get this 2wd SCT on the dang track to give ya some competition Ok, Ok, I jest, not competition but maybe I can at least rub fenders with you when I'm getting lapped, which will likely be several times

If I talk Steve into coming, I'm sure he'll want to run his e-scale if possible

We can have an electric 1/8th class, but if you want trophies for the E8 class, I need some commitment soon. There are only a handful of local guys with them so we'd be relying on out of towners to come down to make it a trophy class. Need to know soon so please PM me or post here if you are interested.

Pink BK bars are the most popular.

Pink ribs or tapers for front.

Tried the MC scrubs last night and liked them too.

Will aka wishbones work on 1/8 scale buggy? There are 4-6 of us from the Fort Wayne area that plan on bringing ours for this race.

Great! All I can say is that they work on SCT. Not sure about 1/8th buggy, but an educated guess is that they will.
