Guys, this race is a lot of fun...it draws quite a number of interested spectators. You'll have plenty of time to enjoy the Nationals. It's just a great experience to be in Knoxville during the Nationals.

It is on the Corn Belt schedule so yes. I am not sure how the points are counted for the race, hopefully Rick can answer that question.

This race is fully supported by the Knoxville Raceway who provide us funding to put on the event along with trophies and anything else we need to make this happen. If you get a chance I recommend you thank them for helping us out. Without their support there most likely would not be a race.

Curt: will we have something under the grand stand like last year for promoting the race?

I would think the Raceway could find room for us again. I am not sure if that was brought up in the discussion today or not. I think it is a good way to promote the sport and the race at the same time.

Rick and I talked about it this week. We decided that it will be counted as a Cornbelt race. It always has been in the past and since it was on the posted schedule as one, it seemed to make sense to count it again this year.

It is asphalt. If you're looking for dirt, you can still come. The Bandit from Australia would love to race with you out at the local go-kart track for an exhibition.

Kevin: Kim is coming down that weekend and she said she can score. She does have experience in scoring at Wally's track and at columbus with the go-carts. Just have to show her on the new program.

You have to buy her dinner LOL
