Last weekend the first round of the RCCM Cup took place on the Hildesheim track in Germany. With no opportunity to practice for the 31 starters prior to the event due to rain, the first practice heats got going on Saturday morning. Following qualification Merlin Depta took pole position with his Max powered Serpent 733. Right from the start of the final Depta pulled away and ran easily for 30 minutes finishing 7 laps in front of eventual second placed finisher Thomas Einbeck, with fellow Kyosho driver Dirk Müller in 3rd. This was the first race with the Serpent 733 for Merlin, who had never before raced in a 1/10 scale class. Source: Serpent [serpent.com] </img> </img>
