Hey guys since I consider all of you friends, I wanted to let you know that my father had another stroke. This time they said he won't come back from it, they are calling in hospice and project 2 weeks at the most. Just want to let you guys know what is up. Sorry for the downer on the thread.

I'm looking for 2 or 3 blue plastic barrels to use as trash cans, anyone know a source for them? Is anyone going to be at the track thursday or friday night? I need to hang the PA speaker and I could use some help holding our 30 year old latter. Thanks Kevin

Sucks to hear about your Dad, Don. Been reading what you'd posted in the BFG thread and it sounds like he's been through a lot. Try to stay positive, though. Most people who know me know about the situation I've been going through with my Mom. They actually sent her to hospice back in mid-March and now they're getting ready to kick her out because she's been doing so well.

Different set of circumstances, but still. Anything can happen despite what the doctors often say. Having gone through this for awhile now, I've heard a lot of stories about those who beat the odds and stabilize or make a recovery. Of course, this isn't the case all the time. Like I said, just stay positive and make the most of the time you're able to spend with him.

Update: We had a snag with the USPS getting the money to Canada (12 days) , but the check finally arrived and the timing system should be shipped today. It won't help us for this race, but we should (Better) have it by June 6th race.

Thanks to Don & Tonia Lamb, they are going to set us up with some blue barrels to be used as trash cans.

We are looking for a small set of bleachers for spectators, if I can't find some already built, I would be interested in plans to build our own.

The cold doesn't bother me. I'd rather be racing in the mid-forties instead of the mid-nineties. And the wind, well what can you say. M40 wouldn't be the same without the wind.
