I'd like to get a list going of who is intending to race the April Equalizer. Please send me an email with your full name and the class or classes that you intend on running. This does not obligate you to come but will help us be prepared for the correct amount of racers. I will post the list and update here on the forum


EQUALIZER Classes and Rules:

LEGENDS:
Motor: Trinity Street Spec Part #SS2226
Gearing: 22 tooth 48 pitch pinion and lower with 81 Tooth Spur
Battery: Trinity Spec 4 Cell Part #2270
Traction Compound: Any Odorless Compound (Jack the Gripper, Niftech, ect..)

S/K:
Motor: 17.5 Novak SS only
Speed Control:Novak GTB's, LRP Sphere SPX-SXX, NO Tekins, Advanced Electonic Black Diamonds, Novak Kinetics or Castle Creation Mamba's
Battery: SMC 25C 4000 mAh 1s only
Tires: Spec yellow banded (any foam compound)
Weight: Minimum 34OZ (2lbs 2oz)
Traction Compound: Odorless only Example: Jack the Gripper, Niftech, Ect...
Gearing: **No gearing limitations**

*Also Allowing Spec Trinity brushed motors w/Trinity 4Cell Spec Battery
Motor: Trinity Spec 21turn
Brushes: Finish line "F" brushes only, these have a F stamped in them
Battery: Trinity Spec 4cell
Weight: Minimum 36OZ (2lbs 4oz)
Traction Compound: Odorless only Example: Jack the Gripper, niftech, Ect...
Gearing: **No gearing limitations**

This class will follow all other SK KAR rules


COT-17.5
BODY: Any Roar Approved COT Body, front air splitter must remain, no holes other than for antenna, all windows must remain
BATTERY: SMC Lipo Single cell part #SUM4025S or Trinity Spec 4 Cell Part #2270, plugs of any manufacture, no direct battery soldering,
MOTOR: Novak 17.5 SS Brushless motor Part#3417 only or Trinity Street Spec Part #SS2226, stock springs, "f" brushes only, armature spec s labeled only, no drill balancing, no bearings, no alterations of the timing tab/ring, brush drilling/shaving allowed
Speed Control:Novak GTB's, LRP Sphere SPX-SXX, NO Tekins, Advanced Electonic Black Diamonds, Novak Kinetics or Castle Creation Mamba's
TIRES: Spec foam tires with yellow identification band
GEARING: 81 tooth 48 pitch spur gear, 23 tooth 48 pitch pinion or smaller w/Brushed Motor, Open Gearing for 17.5 Blrushless motors
WEIGHT: Brushed w/Spec 4 cell 2.5lbs=2lbs 8ounces (minimum) w/transponder, 36 ounces w/Lipo & 17.5 Novak Brushless

SPOILER/WING: Manufactured included wing only, mounted as intended by manufacturer

MOTOR: Novak Brushless 13.5SS or Novak Ballistic motor ONLY (No Cooling of motors, sprays or coolers)
BATTERY: Any ROAR Approved 1 cell Lipo up 50C and 5000 MAH
SPEED CONTROL: Tekins must have firmware 200 or lower versions, Novak GTB, LRP Sphere, SPX or SXX…NO Castle Creation Mamba’s, Advanced Electronic Black Diamonds or Novak Kinetics..
VOLTAGE: Maximum pre-race voltage of 4.22V (No Heating or cooling of Batterys!)
BODY HEIGHT: 4-3/8" (minimum)
SPOILER/WING: Manufactured included wing only, mounted minimum 1/4" above rear deck lid, aftermarket wing mounts allowed

VOLTAGE: Maximum pre-race voltage of 4.22V (No Heating or cooling of Batterys!)

SPOILER/WING: Any ROAR Approved wing and or Spoiler
Traction Compound: Any Odorless Compound (Jack the Gripper, Niftech, ect..)

You can expect a great time and very good racing, in 13.5 A main drivers are only .05 apart! I am looking forward to it! I will take care of waxing the ice!! Lol

True all 13.5 1S cars are close....Plus a good variety brands that close...AE, LE, RIP, HD, Two2

this sounds like the rules we have in place at are track in plattsburg ny cot 17.5 novak only motor and esc and spec bsr tires with yellow ring and 4000 25c smc lipo only with mcallister cot body only cut at factory line and no cut out the rear not sure on the weight sure its close to the same we are having tour between two tracks this year north vs south tour and its going to be great what is the date of your turkey shootout race maybe if it isnt on are tour race or are trophy race i can get a couple of us cot guys to come race thanks donald
