Thumbs up Racing in Iowa!

Here is the schedule for Ft. Dodge and Algona, the two tracks are about 45 minutes apart and always race on the same weekends so you can hit both tracks and have an action packed weekend of racing, Algona also races electric, Ft. Dodge would like too. Algona has lights so later in the year we race under the lights and that is cool all in its own, if you have not raced under lights before, you have to come and try it, both tracks charge $10 dollars to race the 1/4 scales and $5 to race an electric cars. Pretty cheap from what other clubs are charging. Both tracks run a season points standing and give out trophies at the end of the year at a drivers banquet. Electrics get trophies at the end of the night also.

For more information on Algona got to this site: http://www.veteransparkspeedway.com/

No fair..... Clemenade. Practicing! What is that? Who were the 3? I still have to paint my body, guess I better get in gear.

Big Show, The cops may have looked at you kinda strange if you told them you were going to run around the track, my yougest rides his big around the track. Next time bring the car and a couple more racers so we can trade some paint. THe setup are pretty close for sportsmen so it does not take much to go backand forth, I don't know what it takes in other classes.

Cool, they got sportsmen also, we can have quite the group of Sportsmen racing this year. This year should be a blast with all the cars. I tore my car down completly also so it will probably be in left field when it hits the track. We are hoping to be ready for the start of the season with some more work left to be done. We'll see you guys soon.

There may be a number of Legends also, my daughter runs one, I am working on my youngest or maybe my wife to drive the other legend I have.

We will have to get together and time our race to Ft. Dodge, Zach and me are usually the only 2 spotsmen because they race grand national. Saturdays don't look good at first but after a few weekends we are good to go.
