New Blog Update

"JL 40th Anniversary
1/13/2009 12:25:00 PM The first assortment of the Johnny Lightning 40th Anniversary line will be hitting shortly. Many of the popular themes you have come to know and love will be making an appearance. The Spoilers has always been a collector favorite. There are two Spoilers releases in each of the first two assortments. The 4th Spoiler release in the line is this 1970 Dodge Super Bee with its gunmetal metallic finish and silver stripes. To avoid any confusion, we have started the numbering of the Spoilers at 1 so that we can continue to release Spoilers in our regular collector line. "

Well, at least it sounds like there will be a regular line.
Best of luck to JL on the anniv. line. At this point I will
not be purchasing them. They might go over well and
I hope they do.

I may be confused but isn't the SPOILER Hook the open engine?? That SPOILER has a hood. Casting a hood = casting engine so it can't be cost.

Maybe the Black with flames will have sparks on them - LOL!

WHAT!!! Those losers. Who's going to be confused? These guys are clueless. No wonder the brand is dying.

If that's what the 40th anniversary line looks like they aren't going to be too bad. They look Like the old PM JL minus a metal base, for the same pricepoint.

That's exactly what I would also be doing. And still 3 bucks. TRU has older Jl's at 2.99 with METAL bases.
