Early info regarding the 2009 Keystone Diecast Carnival

Hello all! I finally got confirmation from the hotel so I can release some info regarding the next Keystone Diecast Carnival!

The date will be April 18th & 19th! Yes, I got the room all day on Saturday the 18th and half of the day on Sunday the 19th!

I have a block of rooms set aside for those of you that are coming from a distance for an awesome rate of $59.00 a night! The rates are good for both Friday night and Saturday night and if you wish to come earlier or stay later we can probably extend that rate for your stay.

All you have to do is ask the receptionist to give you the DCM (Die Cast Meeting) rate or tell them you are booking for the Keystone Diecast CARnival.

You have to call the hotel direct at (717)336-7541 to book reservations. The toll free number at 1-800-HOLIDAY can not see the special rate.

Here is a link to the hotel website. From here you can find plenty of local attractions along with the hotel accomidations.

Holiday Inn of Lancaster County

If you call to make reservations and woman named Joanne answers, be nice. That is my mother and she is the one that is helping make this all possible. (I am just kidding by the way. I am sure you would all be nice.)

I will post more info as it is available!

I'm hoping I can figure something out. I had a great time last year, but this year is going to depend on the house situation.

Had a good time last event. Met some great folks, scored some cool diecast, drank beer. I'll be there, wouldn't miss it!

I had fun at the 2008 Keystone Diecast Carnival.

I hope to leave a day early and visit some places of interest in the area near the 2009 Keystone Diecast Carnival.

Will diecast skeet shooting be an activity?

OK guys, I just got 2 messages saying that the weekend that I have chosen is Easter weekend. Blasted phone calendar with no holiday descriptions!! I will confirm the date with the hotel but we should plan on the weekend before that. April 4th & 5th

One of those messages was from me. And for those of us who observe it, Nick, April 5th is Palm Sunday...
