The walmart in mesquite put the 1/24 on clearence for 11.00 each. Their is three from r28. So i went to the other two near my house they had zero? Which is odd because on monday they had three each and i scored a wl camaro from one.
So whats up? Is walmart now not going to carry jl at all? Man i hope not.
But i dont get the clearence of them, when they have been on the shelves for a week to two weeks?
it is because their computer has them listed as clearance. During their new mod set jl went clearance to clear them out. New stuff is staying, walmart gets deals. (i used to do pricing at a large box store, its called a plc or markup or a markdown)they are behind on there work
....the R28 release is starting to show up here...prices remain the same as past releases ... $14.92 each....have never seen a markdown of any 1/24 scale before....however; NYSWLhunter had a very good explanation ....and I tend to agree....stay positive.... I'm looking forward to new releases in 1/24...especially the '67 Shelby Mustang due in R29..
I just find it odd that the stores in dallas have clearenced a new car. Most havent been on the shelf for more than a week --month. Oh well, maybe they will put round 29 or 30 out?
