Wanted: Demo Derby donors

I'm currently on the hunt for some old beaters to use as demo derby custom cars. It does not matter if the cars have bent axles, broken windshields or paint scratches. So long as the base and body are in tact, that's all that matters.

I'm looking for the following:

JL
1973 Chevy Wagon

Matchbox
Mercury Commuter Wagon
Mercury Cougar Villager Wagon
Plymouth Gran Fury

Zylmex
chevy Chevelle/malibu 2 door (74/5? model)
Plymouth fury 4 door sedan

Corgi jr.
Buick Regal 74 or 75 model

Yatming
mid 1970s caddy fleetwood brougham
1965 Ford Galaxie
1974 Lincoln Mark IV
1970s Chevy stepside P/U

Hotwheels
Redline plymouth fury police (was a 1965-67 model I believe)

Impy Lone Star
1963 Chrysler Imperial

I have for trade the following:

JL
13 customs 73 caddy
Classic plastic release 1 (Whole Series)

HotWheels
Custom 1969 Chevy P/U treasure hunt x(2)
Chysler 300 treasure hunt (2)
Red Dodge Charger (07 All star)
1970 Plymouth Cuda blue (Mopar Madness) x(3)
1967 Chevy Camaro (Motown Metal)
1969 Pontiac GTO 1st edition orange (2005)-x(3)

MB
Chevy van orange from 2007 line
Ford Mustang GT concept lime green from 2007 line
VW T2 Bus
1972 Blue Bronco 2007 x(2)

Maisto
2005 Chrysler 300 x(2)

All of my cars up for trade are in mint condition and still on the blisters that they came in.

Thanks for looking!

Zach

Are you telling me collectors wouldn't trade in some old beaters for a some new treasure hunts? They are worth that much?

I went thru some of the ones I used to use for derbies when I was a kid, but they're a bit rough.

lol think about that statement. I don't know about everyone else but i don't have any beater cars. Collectors usually take extra care with their cars. I suggest looking on ebay. There are always lots old cars on there.

I added in a few others that would make great derby cars, a couple would probably need the roofs tapped up a bit. And I don't know if the trucks are Yatming or not. Some of them def. need some paint work.

I'd trade you for the commuter wagon, black Mercury in the second row from the left and the trucks. What is the black car on the far left?

Would two of the treasure hunts be good enough compensation or would you want something else on my trader list? If you are looking for anything else, lmk.

The black car the far left appears to be made by Tomica, its a Dodge Coronet Custom or so it says on the bottom, really heavy metal car says copyright 1978 on the bottom. You wouldn't happened to have any 1999-present rubber tired JLs would you not really into treasure hunts myself.

I'll def. put the other ones you asked for aside.

Any specific JLs you looking for? Most of mine are 2005+. I'll try to get a quick list made.

Here's a listing of ones up for trade. I believe all have rubber tires. Might be one or two that don't and if so, my apologies.

1968 Olds 442 Muscle Cars #12

Mopar or no car:
70 cuda aar #51
58 Belvidere #54
#37-42

Classic Gold 2 Rel 14 Shelby cobra black w/gold stripe

Working class trucks/suvs
red 1965 chevy truck #3
white Jeep cj5 #6
1966 Ford Bronco

CG 2 Release 27 red Shelby Daytona coupe
CG John Fesler black 1967 Chevy camaro
BWF 1951 Merc x3
CG 2 Release 30 Dodge Coronet conv.

These are all still in the blister and the cards are in good shape. Might be some slightly bent edges, but nothing major. They have all been hanging on push pins since purchased new. Guess after looking at the JLs I have, alot date from 2002+. Hope this brought about no confusion.

Zach

Hi Crafty sorry I didn't get back you this past weekend, been preoccupied with this carshow flyer I'm doing for Sons of the American Legion carshow my dad is putting on in May. I would trade you the cars you asked for, for the 58 Belvedere and the 66 Bronco, I'm not worried about the condition of the blisters they will be open anyways. If you think that is fair trade get back with me. Thanks
