FRED,,,,,,,,,,,

Thanks for the announcement .
I got FIRED UP when I read that you have info on ALL 2008 releases. I couldn't get on your site fast enough to see what 's coming ..
BUT FRED ,, you got some seriously sloppy quality issues with what your listing dude..
I see a 64' TRANS -AM , 67' Ford Thunderbolt, 1988 Lincoln Continental Mark III, a 68' Dodge Coronet RT Conv. coming out in the next month ( should say 69' )
among numerous other typos..
You show that there is to be a 72' Torino GT later in the year , which is GREAT !! but , I can't trust that you got that right or not ....

I hate to sound rather harsh ... but I am not the only one frustrated by now ... If you really want business , you need to realize that Hobby Talk participants are NUTS about accurate info , especially when it comes to the 2nd half of 2008..

The information is 100% directly from Johnny Lightings excel spread sheet of releases dated 1/10/08 so if they are a bit different that is what Jl is using for their internal refrences.

I have seen JL label somethings in the past that are not always 100% correct.

We will make adjustments to the lists as more info becomes available, but as of now this the OFFICIAL JL announcement of car selection.

Have Fun,
Fred

Thanks Fred ,

Please forgive my rant ..
I have to admit that I am shocked that JL's own marketing attempts produce such inaccuracys in getting the info out to it's sales channels ......
The end users ,like many of us on Hobby Talk ,have learned to deal with release changes as far as last minute replacement issues and such.. But if all you did was to cut-and-paste the list received from JL , then that's just sad .....

It can't possibly make you very pleased .. cause your soliciting our business and what is found on your site makes YOU look screwed up.....

Oh well....there just toys......

Thanks again for responding ..

Steve , the naive one.....

Isn't soliciting business via this chat boadr strictly forbidden??? Isn't that what the buy/sell/trade topic is for?

I personally (for professional reasons) don't like when some OLD's watermark other peoples photos and pass them off as their own. Mark however, does a nice job keeping us posted with his own pictures of the new releases he purchases.

Wow, looks like Fred is taking some hits on this announcement. I had a feeling a 5% sale was going to generate some snearing, from a business standpoint. Perhaps I speak too bluntly, and should keep my big mouth shut. It's a very nice gesture for those who want to preorder everything under the sun. But with most people being conservative these days about their purchasing, it just makes you look like you're being conservative on your sales prices as well. You would have generated more excitement if you said free shipping on all pre-orders, and it would have worked out almost the same for you money-wise in the long run. And hey, we all have to make our living, that's understood 100% But it's the notion of getting something for nothing you want to promote, not the small discount.

Just giving an honest business opinion and hope it taken as such

If you look to the right you will see 1 Stop is the sponsor of this forum so Fred has the right to post these items and info here.

whoops

This is kind of off topic, but Fred, you wouldn't happen to be the old school BMX freestyler form SE racing back in the 80's?!?!?!?!?!
