IRS Shock Wave 1/10th Oval Car
IRS 1/10th Oval Car Kit – “The Shock Wave”
The Shock Wave has gone through extensive engineering, design and testing to bring the R/C world the most innovative, complete, and adjustable car on today’s market.
The light weight chassis is designed to allow multiple wheel base lengths. A choice of a 3mm nerf bar or a 3mm nerf wing and a 3mm bumper are included. The right front suspension can be adjusted back to front, and the left front suspension can be adjusted in or out. The innovative locking plates allow small incremental adjustment of the front end. The slotted servo mounting holes accommodate a wide variety of different manufacturers steering servos. The battery slots are correctly spaced for the latest batteries and include the IRS battery locator. The chassis is also machined to hold your personal transponder. Want to run your t-plate straight up, slightly offset, or a major off set, this is no problem with the Shock Wave? Also included are IRS’s newly designed T-plate pivot ball pockets.
The front end features the new IRS light weight caster blocks, upper suspension arms, and IRS universal (left or right) lower suspension arms. The new IRS King Pins have a single e-clip design. Top that off with a complete set of front suspension springs.
The new IRS Macro Shock is Nickel/Teflon coated using less parts, making it smooth and easy to build. The race proven IRS Nickel/Teflon Micro Shocks are also included.
The 3mm bottom pod plate is designed to be adjustable for short or long wheel base and extra durability. The IRS axle is complimented with IRS light weight diff rings. Included are hubs and spacers to make the Shock Wave an offset or non-offset pod.
Added to the kit are the full set of IRS ride height adjusters, a full set of bearings, three different lengths of ball studs for side shock adjustments, tie rods, hardware, king pin lube, diff lube, Kimbrough servo saver and 100T spur gear. A complete instruction manual including base set up, tuning tips, and blank set up sheet is included.
Websters definition of a Shock Wave n: a wave formed by the sudden violent compression of the medium through which it travels.

Cool car Dave.
I like that shock too.
The upper arms in the pics, will they be available seperately? If so when?
