2007 AutoFest Custom Contest Grand Prize is the 1966 GTO Holiday Chrome Car pre-production sample produced with a non-chrome base. A very rare piece of die-cast history offered to the one that knocks our socks off!

Holy Cow...That's just cool as can be! I hope this pulls guy's out of the wood work to submit cars. Will there be a custom auction as well?

I cruised the site and just did not see any info on the customs contest ( as far as classes, etc.) under the custom tab. Though the class winner Stang looks great!

Roll call guys, who plans to submit customs?

Yes, we can do that again this year, allow people to submit custom cars that will be judged, then auctioned off fo rthe ADDWC.. It was fun last year and I picked up a couple sweet customs for my collection

Anybody interested, let me know... attendence is not necessary for the Custom Car Auction portion of the show since the customs will be going home with the highest bidder

But as stated above, we might be able to submit a car or two for the ADDWC auction / custom contest. I am hoping to hear more on if this will happen. I can not make this years event, and I am no where near good enough to enter the big boy contest anyway.

This will happen, even if we only get a few entries. It allows the customizers to contruibute and allows those of us who are not really able to do customs to own one.... with all of us helping the ADDWC

If you would like, you can send any entry you wish to make directly to me

LMK

Rob

And I think you are plenty capable of entering the "big boy contest"

Rob, your to kind, but I just don't think so. What I do is presentation, not true body / paint customizing. I am proud of what I do, but I could not hang in a room of true customizers. Go look at what the guys can do right here on our own board!

But I WILL select a car or two to send for the auction. I have your addy, and I will send something soon. I felt like I "Won" last years event, though we all received the event car. I was told that my entry auctioned for the most money. And knowing what it went for and to who, I felt like the king of the world!
