O/T Anyone in Minnesota or Surrounding states! July 28th *PICS*
July 28th is a show that is probably one of the best kept secrets ever. Held in Elkton Minnesota, a very tiny town, Engelhart Performance puts on a show you cannot miss.
Most of the Sox & Martin Cars are their:
The 4 million dollar Hemi Cuda Convertible:
Grumpy's Toy:
Knafel Tin Indian:
Linda Vaughn:
A whole lot more too! A car show, Drag Racers, like Arnie Beswick and Dick Landy, were their last year.
If you can make the show I highly recommend it! Free to the public and nothing but outstanding drag cars and muscle cars.

YES , ELKTON .... Population of about 150 . I was born and raised in nearby DEXTER . Attended the old Elkton High School about a block away from where the pics are taken.
Englehart has done a great job with this show every year . It just gets bigger and bigger ...... He is one serious collector.... Mainly a MOPAR guy ..

I couldn't find out much on the web either . Check out the link below for a bit of info on what to expect . It's usually been held on the last Saturday of July..
There is an Elkton exit about 10 miles east of Austin , MN on Interstate 90 . follow the signs to Elkton ( about 4 miles)
If you come north or south on Interstate 35 , exit on to Interstate 90 at Albert Lea and head east - thru Austin -

Sorry guys. I didn't have much information. I went for the first time last year and am really looking forward to this year's show.
The information Steve posted is perfect. You really can't get lost finding this show.
I'll be hauling about 4 other guys with me.

UPDATE : I spoke with my relatives from Elkton and the show is definately ON for this coming weekend.
They mentioned that there is actually some related events happening Friday nite , besides all day Saturday...
Not certain who or what the BIG featured personalities or famous drag cars will be this year. Last year was ,of course, Linda V and Ronnie Sox and his cars .. In years past , Don ,The Snake, Prudome was featured as well as the wheel standing "Lil Red Wagon "
