Fest - Lightning Girls

The girls and I would like to thank each of you for including us in Fest once again this year! It was a pleasure to meet each of you - some for the first time, others again.

Pamela:

As those of you that attended Fest found out, Pamela was unable to make it to Fest at the last minute. She called me the night before complaining that the doctor had told her she was too sick to fly. She was really upset that she would not be there as promised and agreed that she would mail autographs to anyone that mails their cars to her. We gave out little wallet sized cards to everyone that asked with an address on them, but in case you missed getting one the mailing information is below.
Cars that Pamela has appeared on:
American Beauties Series 1 (Car #5 - 1965 Shelby Cobra 427 and Car #7 - 1969 Dodge Super Bee), Calendar Cars 2007 (Car #7 - 1965 Ford Mustang), and Limited Edition Fest Exclusive Car

Rebecca:
Rebecca had an awesome time meeting each of you and signing autographs throughout the event. What most of you did not know, though, was that on Saturday she began complaining of a severe stomach ache. Towards the end of Mac Ragan's after-dinner presentation, she finally had to excuse herself to go back to the room and lay down. My husband went to the pharmacy and got some medicine to make her comfortable until we got home, but she felt really badly that she could not remain downstairs to sign autographs as promised. I took some cases up for her to sign from a couple of you, but if any of you missed getting your blisters, cars, and/or posters signed by Rebecca, please feel free to send them to her at the address below as well. I see her all the time and will make sure she signs them so that I can mail them back to you.
Cars that Rebecca has appeared on:
American Beauties Series 1 (Car #8 - 1999 Chevy Camaro SS and Car #7 - 1969 Dodge Super Bee), Calendar Cars 2007 (Car #7 - 1965 Ford Mustang), and Limited Edition Fest Exclusive Car

Josie:
Josie had a great time meeting each of you as well! She was excited to be a part of Fest and can't wait to return next year!
Cars that Josie has appeared on:
American Beauties Series 1 (Car #3-1969 Chevy Camaro SS), Calendar Cars 2007 (Car #9 - 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda), and Limited Edition Fest Exclusive Car

Jennifer:
Jennifer made her debut at Fest this year. She had a good time meeting each of you as well.
Cars that Jennifer has appeared on:
Limited Edition Fest Exclusive Car

As stated above, if there are any autographs that you missed getting from the girls at Fest, please feel free to send them to me at the address below. Make a note of the models that you need to get autographs from and make sure to include a padded S.A.S.E. for me to return them to you in. The only model that I will not be able to get autographs from is Jennifer as she has recently moved to New York.

Thanks again for the awesome experience and we look forward to seeing you again next year!

I hope Rebecca is feeling better! She needs to save her strength,...the auto show season is coming up!

It was a real pleasure chatting at length with Josie at the Learning Curve store

Also was a pleasure to meet Jennifer as well.

Missed you this year Pamela, I hope you are well now.

Nice to see Kathy again, taking pics of it all.

She went to the doctor this morning. He's got her on antibiotics and a couple of other things, but she is definitely feeling better. I will make sure to pass along your good wishes.

Josie really enjoyed getting to meet you and all the others too! It is really exciting to see your picture on a package in a store. But it really hits home and you realize how big of a deal this really is when you get to meet all the people that collect the toys that have your picture on the package. Going to Fest gave her an all new insight into the world of JL collecting that she could never have gotten any other way.

Pamela has gone to the doctor as well and is feeling somewhat better. I spoke with her this afternoon and she was still expressing how upset she was that she had to miss out. If the doctor had given the thumbs up for her to fly, she would have been there.

It was nice getting to see you again too! We only had a few minutes to talk before I got pulled in another direction, but I enjoyed the time that we had. We will have to find more time to talk next year!

It was really great to have the ladies back at Fest again. I would really prefer to move them out of the hall and back into the room if possible. I have some ideas for that. The girls are gorgeous, all of them and very very nice. We missed Pamela but Rebecca made it back and I can't figure out how she gets prettier each year? Just how does that work Rebecca?

The series seems to be a big hit and I look forward to seeing more of that program. Great work by Kathi. The car was an added bonus. I wasn't sure how that program worked, if it was just a Fest thing or what so perhaps if they are still available, Kathi can you please explain how?

Many thanks

We talked about that too and would have liked that better, but there didn't seem to be any room. You guys had A LOT of different things going on in there (which was a good thing!!) I have some ideas for that. The girls are gorgeous, all of them and very very nice. We missed Pamela but Rebecca made it back and I can't figure out how she gets prettier each year? Just how does that work Rebecca? She's going to blush when she hears about this thread!

The car was an added bonus. I wasn't sure how that program worked, if it was just a Fest thing It is supposed to be "Fest Exclusive"... or what so perhaps if they are still available, Kathi can you please explain how? It's not up to me, it's an RC2 thing. I honestly don't know how many were sold yet or their plans for whatever is leftover.

I'm glad to hear you feel the same way about the hall situation. I have just sent off a long list of changes for review with the other sponsors and after some feedback I'll present Z with our new floorplan in hopes there is a 2007. On a short note think the long window wall as you enter the room.

Well, if they need the artwork back for the Nomad to make more, just give me a call.
