69 Stang just caused my heart to stop;

Several days ago Ward aka '69 Stang' offered to pick up a set of Gold Series r3 for me, since I hadn't been able to locate them locally (still havn't seen them in Phx.), little did I know that he had been plotting to kill me!

That's right friends and neighbors, our own 69 Stang is an attempted Squirrel murderer! Proof you ask?! Oh I have proof allright!

Inside the unassuming and perfectly innocent looking priority mail box that I found on my front step this evening was a BOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Actually, to be completely accurate, inside the box was THE BOMB!!!!!!!!

Ward took it upon himself to construct the end all king of cabs, the most completely wicked, pure evil, kick a$$, 7.5 seond e.t. taxicab of the apocolypse!!!!!!!!!!!!
FOR ME!!! FOR FREE!!! FOR NO GOOD REASON!!!

Ward took a JL 97 Crown Vic, added a pro stock scoop, slicks and draglites, a set of wheelie bars, and a drag chute.
He even festooned this masterpiece with Johnny's Car Service logos of his own design!!
The finished product will take you on that 25 mile airport trip in just over 6 minutes (and 1 tank of gas)!!!!!

Ward you are truly THE MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am standing here beside myself, completely awe struck at the amount of work you put into this car, from planning to execution, and the display case, and then to personalize the decals, and, and, and!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My name is John, and I've been OVERHAULED!!!!

The word awesome, for me, has been redefined by this car, and by this gesture of friendship.

Thank you Ward.

I will post a link shortly so you all can enjoy this work of art about 1:1,000,000th as much as I am enjoying this bad a$$ people mover.
I have to upload pics into photobucket real quick.

John

Here it is,kinda

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...06065223pm.jpg

batteries in my camera are dead, but Ward included these photos with the package ( Ward included everything but a title and registration when he put this bad boy together ), so I scanned it and uploaded it to photobucket, too bad my scanner leaves something to be desired.
My scanner does not do these pics justice, and the pics do not do the car justice( despite the excellent quality of Ward's photography).

Ward, if you see this, could you possibly post pics for me, pretty please?

Again, words cannot possibly describe how touched, honored, and utterly blown away I am.
One more time Ward, thank you.

Hey John, you have to stop this sappy posting. You are gonna' make me blush!

I am so glad you liked the Taxi! I have been planning this for months. So when I agreed to do a car for Kenny and the Fest auction, I thought it was a good time to get to yours as well. I was really happy with how it turned out!

And besides, the best time to do something for somebody, is when you don't have to. Then it's just pure fun! I won't go into here the reasons why, you you know.... Just consider it a payback for my custom PIP cars. ( Folks, he makes a MEAN 1:64 PIP!)

The pics look fine from your scanner, but here is a couple of the orgionals since you asked so nicely!

Ward
