The Stock Spur on that truck should be a 87.If it's NOT replace it with a 87 tooth spur gear.

Pinion wise.

Most stock motor's in that truck will like a 16-18
19 turn will like a 21-23
Mod Motor's you will wanna go 5-7 teeth OVER the wind.
Meaning?
12 turn motor 5 teeth over the WIND(Wind being 12 turn) would be 17.
12 turn plus 5 teeth equals-17 tooth pinion.

Hope this helps.
