The Duratrax Ice charger is a nice little unit for the money $120.
Will charge nicd, nihm and even Li-po's and Li-Ion's
Motor run in feature (10 amp limit)
10 amp discharge

The LRP Pulsar Competition - $170
Will charge Nihm and Nicds
Motor run in (14 amp limit)
10 amp discharge

If all you need it to do is charge, the Competition Electronics Pitbull X3 is nice small unit- Plus its a CE so you know its a quality product $130. I think this will only charge nicd and Nihm cells.

Not that the Novak's cant do the job, but they are a little dated, matter of fact they discontinued the Millenium pro. With the Nihm cells today, the peak detect is crucial so you do not overheat the cells. I wouldnt skim when buying a charger.

Another option is to browse the swap and sell area's. Pick up a used CE Turbo 35 or GFX. They can be found used in the $150-$275 range. They will do everything from Charge, to discharge, to run in motors and cycle

Novak has discontinued the Millennium Pro. I e-mailed Novak and asked if they had anyting in the works - yes but it was a few months out.

I just went out and bought another Duratrax Ice charger.

I suggest you consider getting a charger that will charge Li-Po batteries. Once you go brushless w/li po you will not want to go back.

BTW my Ice chargers replaced two Milennium Pro chargers.
