motor has capacitors still gets "noise"

my T4 has a novak cyclone TC speedcontrol and it acts up at a moderate distance. i did the 3 capacitor thing with the stocker motor but it still does it with the monster stock (built in caps). any suggestions? it gets chopy response

i had a problem just like that with my novak cyclone TC esc as well. but a scotty diode on the motor fixed it right up.....

i have the same problem on my T4 just i have a dually esc. i run a D5 10x1 on mine. the diode didnt help. the best combo i found is a single cap going from poitive to neg.

tamiya kid... get a better motor. the venom fireball motors are poory built. that might help

yea i know but you gotta admit its a great deal at 15.00 for a 15t , any way i use it for bashing and i might race it next week, oh well im broke!!!!

mine didnt come with the cap on it i added it so far so good ill probably need to add the diode to a couple older stockers i have

Well the motor isn't the only source of radio interference.

A loose servo plug wire, a bad servo, a broken antenna wire, even a battery pack with a bad cell can cause problems that are similar to radio hits.

And if Pat didn't give ya enough to check (good list Pat):

Bad or Loose Crystal
Bad or Loose Solder Joint
Receiver and/or ESC that has been ~bumped~ to much (I.E. one hard crash will do it)
Low Transmitter Batteries
ESC servo/receiver wires to close to Motor, Battery or Battery Wires, or frayed insulation
Dirty motor / comm / brushes

.... I could go on, but that should be enough to check for awhile

How many runs are on the motor?? if the brushes are over worn this will cause glithing.. other radio items as well..a bad servo, receiver, xstal ect.. the only way to find out for sure it to replace each one one at a time.. borrow from someone if you can or it gets expensive...

most important.. make sure your radio batteries are full...

was the cap needed on my cyclone and maybe the servo (rerouted all the wires new setvo and added the cap) runs smooth now

i put a 16 amp on mine and it didnt do anything. i just put a 25 amp on it and it has no interferance
