I think this would be a perfect place for a firstrelease of the 73 Chevy Wagon and Olds Vista Cruiser.

I think 4 wagons would be good. One Mopar, one Oldsmobile, one Chevy and a Ford.

This is another series that could use Diorama's. Like a station wagon with a family(little plastic fig's). Standing by a guard rail(also plastic). Looking at the grand canyon(Which would be a real pic). Also include luggage rack, bike rack, U-Haul trailers, etc. Other land marks could include baseball, football statiums etc. Landmarks in other countries and use the VW's or the Citroen. All it takes is a little imagination. The Autobaun would be cool. Little plastic AB signs. Use the GT casting. Thats a cool "road trip".

OK OK OK Here it is. The mother of all dio's. A "Road Trip" LIGHTNING FEST thank you DIO set. Cars included would be "YCITS" of coarse. Fig's would include Mark and other LF heavy hitters. Hopfully inclucing the american beauties.

Station wagons, absolutely.

The '60 Ford is a no brainer for this release.

Toss in new castings of a '70 Vista Cruiser, '68 Town & Country, '75 Country Squire, and a '73 Caprice and we're set to go.
