Well, the Hobby Talk board is being kind to me these days. The trades I sent out are starting to come back to me. Boxes from Missouri Mike and Woody68RS yesterday, and one from CTWLSMIKE today. Mike sent me the Tenth Anniversary Topper GTO and Hummer, leaving me with just the Vicious Vette from the 20 car set that I need. Thanks guys
Earl is alive and well on the HT board with the karma: what goes around, comes around. Thanks to all HT members who have made my foray into trader such a pleasant and fun experience.
I love telling my girlfriend "Honey, These cars didn't cost me a dime! Just a little postage, and wham, my Hobby Talk friends are helping me fill my collection!" .........
Suggestion for CN. Rather than open all of your packages now I think that you should save them for oh.....about 10 days. Hopefully you can stockpile a nice little load. Then all in one day, Feb 5th, you should spend the entire day ripping them open and enjoying all your new "toys". As a matter of fact i can even send you an Escalade to replace one that you might have lost.
Maybe this will take your mind off the events that will be happing, a distraction if you will and ease your pain.
