Just got off the Phone with Die-cast "Depress"
Hopefully this last guy I talked to will clear everything up and take care of me.
But it's been a lot longer then it should of. Took 5 phone calls so far.
I'm not too happy right now...
All started late last month Oct 25th, when I Placed an order with Die-cast Express,
I thought Id order up some items since we all got that 1/2 off survey thing.
For that kind of prices you have to order stuff RIght...
The first alarm was when I got an e-mail on Nov 3rd, said everything was packaged and shipped out, except 1 item I ordered wasn't on the list at all.
So I figured it was on back order or something, and id get it later.
I called the 800 # anyways just to make sure, they said I should wait. Ok,
I was cool with that.
Next day I get 1 package, Box was smaller then I thought, I open it, and just as I feared, there was some items missing.
The day after I call for 2nd time. explain what happend, they said another package was shipped out and for me to wait, and they dont know why the e-mail didnt mention any missing peices... OK, sounds fine, i wait...
I get another e-mail that night which looked wrong again, says 1 of the items was shipped in the second package...
Day or 2 later, Package # 2 comes. Again this box looks smaller then it should for whats still missing. Open it up, and only 1 item is in the box, I'm Still missing 4 more Cars. That last e-mail was correct, but where are my other 4 cars???
I call for the 3rd Time, Explain whats I got... My first package Slip said That 6 items were shipped in 1 box, but only 2 items were in the Box. THe second Box only 1 item was in the box... This time they said they will check with the warehouse and call me back... I wait.. Ok there was a Mix up, it happens...
a week goes by no call... its nov 11 now, I call back for the 4th time... She tells me a package was sent out on the 3rd and for me to wait 10 bussiness days. I explained to her that it sounded like the second package which I recieved all ready, I asked her if I have to wait longer she says yes... Tech 10 buss days would be on the 15th. Once again, I said ok, I will wait.
This is when I started to lose faith in The customer Service...
I gave it another week and just called about an hr ago today Nov 21st.
This was the 5th phone call. The guy I talked to was pleasent, and so far the most helpfull. I was calm as I explained my situation just as I was the last 4 phone calls - I expressed my feelings about how disapointed I was that this is taking so long to get corrected. He understood and Told me he will put a smile on my face when this is all done, and would call me back.
So now I wait again. I'm Not angry, Im just very disapointed.
I just hope that this doesnt happen often to others.
Thought id sharing my Experience with my firends here at HT.

Wow, that sucks. I've ordered a few things from them, never had a problem. I have heard of several bad experiences from other people on the board - not getting things, getting boxes with broken cars in them, waiting for weeks to get stuff - not really the way to build up a business!
Wow! I am glad I acidentally threw my redemption code out and was unable to oreder anything at half off. (I think I had all I wanted at the time anyway)
Wonder if it was because of a larger volume of orders due to the coupon.
Hope they got their act together. I just placed an order last week.
I got a call back and was told NO MORE 1/18 Super BEES! the other 3 cars they will send. So now I'm super bummed. I didn't care if I had to wait longer...
THis is the worst thing I could of been told, The super Bee was limited and they are all out of them now!! I didnt care about money, I wanted my MOPAR, now they cant get one for me since it was a limited run in that color.
They are offering me any other 1/18 scale car but I wanted the BEE that is gone, all the other cars are American Muscle which I don't care for because the make so many of those.
I dont get why they didnt put one of these cars aside after I called 4 other times saying I didnt recieve it yet??
I like Mopar or rare Stuff from JL.
Im pretty sure I already have all the other reg issue mopar items.
Im waiting to hear back from RC2 again.

My first package was perfect on the outside and inside was all loose cars and blisters floating around... this was last year about now and they made good and I haven't had a problem since then...... maybe they just don't like you??
