69 Coronet Convertible???

Does this mean RC2 is taking the existing 69 Superbee casting and chopping the top off of it? Or, is this going to be a totally new casting; or, do they mean 1968 Coronet? I've heard some here talking about a 1968, but I have never heard of plans for a 69 Convertible.

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the 68 Coronet was scrapped for a droptop 69.

I'm in total agreement. I would rather have a new casting than a modified one; besides, no one else in diecast has ever made a 1:64 1968 Coronet/Superbee; actually there aren't many in other scales of this car either. 1968-1970 are the best years for the Superbee/Coronet. It would just be orgasmic if JL made a 1968 to go with the 1969 and 1970
