I've found a lot of new releases at TRU, but nowhere else. I'm thinking of ebaying some stuff just to make up for my spending habits. So I suppose my luck has been good in that sense.

I found some Jadas at Wal*Mart including the racing Shelby.

And that concludes my finds for the week.

Thats mostly true around here too....although I don't check regularly...sometimes once a week. But, today I saw that they restocked a bunch of the multiple car sets and the Holiday classics...I picked up the chrome blue Shelby ofcourse . I'm admiring it on my desk as I type this. It's got the detailed spare tire....just like the Fest Daytonas. Another cool variation on this one is the windows are open

Oh yeah....I saw a bunch of the 1:24 scale JL's at Target.

BTW....now that the Holidays are creeping up on us....shouldn't we expect to start seeing a lot more stocking of the JL's?

Was out today and I heard that the new Target opened this weekend so I decided to swing by and check out the die cast aisle. Big mistake! It was OPENING DAY and the parking lot was full. What a zoo! (SWIFTY - WERE YOU THERE? IT"S A NEW HUNTING GROUND) I have never seen a store so full. The cool thing was that there were 3 pegs designated for JL's. Not so cool thing is that there were only 4 JL's left. Decent thing is that there won't be any pegwarmers for a while and maybe they will stock the store regulary. Went out saturday to Reading area and got a few decent cars. Got a sweet gray GT and a green Mustang from the American Muscle series with the window sticker among others. No WL's.

This was probably the worst week that I have had in quite some time. Only thing I found that I needed was the red '61 Catalina (Kustomized 503-01B). Got it at K-Mart. (Wal Mart 0, Hobby Lobby 0, TRU 0, Target 0, K-B 0)

The only White Lightnings I have found, were the the Hurst Olds in the GM Muscle ten packs (X2).

Nothing new here.
Still waiting to see some new Johnny Lightnings.
After all, Christmas is coming, and hopefully some new JLs.
Maybe, today WILL be the day.
You have to be an eternal optimist when it comes to collecting JLs.

Cheers. Cobra
