I agree, it is a difficult site. Unforutnately (?) they do have a lot of stock and there are great deals if you are able to navigate through. As Stack said, they are good folks to work with. I've never had a service problem. Give it time, it's worth it.
I have never been able to get their search to work, even when I knew they had the car I was searching for. The site needs major work.
I have ordered a lot of cars from them and have had good luck with them on buying JL closeout cars.
IF ya spend some time with it you can find things but the key is ya have to have A LOT of time to mess around.
Their clearance stuff is fairly decent prices on almost everything - what killed me was that I had $8 worth of cars that cost me $10 to ship - so much for the savings. I would have bought a bunch of stuff but I could not justify the shipping.
In contrast, Macs has shipped me upwards of 30 cars for like $7.50. I personally, have shipped 20+ cars for around the $7-8 range.
In the past, I have bought a lot of diecast from this business.
I have nothing but good things to say about them. Excellent service.
And even on occasion, I have telephoned them.
I know that their web-site may leave a bit to be desired. But you can't win them all.
It takes a lot of patience and time to navigate through their lists.
I always make notes when I am going through stuff on their site for reference.
This speeds up the search on going back to check items.
I guess the most important part is the fact that I have never had any problems there.
As far as the search aspect, I have never been able to make it work either.
I have always received a confirmation of my order in a very timely manner.
I've used Diecast Warehouse as well and no complaints...it's all good.
Shipping is a tad higher, but the sometimes when you just can't find the older cars, they might just be in the clearance area.
I've never gotten a WL but Matt throws in other cool things like posters and those wacky styrofoam flying things.
