Kerry Earnhardt is Awesome!!!

I just wanted to say that Besides this board is kind of dead so I wanted to post something.

I'm hoping Kerry catches a break next year, but it seems there is no room in NASCAR for a thirty something gentleman. Gotta be young and gotta be a punk to make it nowadays

Kerrys next and last race for the year will be at Dega, hoping he has a great run and draws someones attention.

You'd think with a name like Earnhardt he wouldn't need to beg for attention. He's got talent, but he's overshadowed by Junior. Personally, I think there's room for two Earnhardts on the track (hey, we've had three Wallaces and three Bodines out there before).

Kerry always has been treated like the redheaded stepchild when actually it's Jr. Not to worry Pony, Kerry will always have a ride.

I don't understand why he has never scored a ride in the cup series. Like swifty said, the last name is enough to get a fan and support base, and he definately has the talent.

I don't think its teams overshadowing Kerry, i think the media tends to blow Dale Jr. out of proportion against his will. It really gets annoying when every race (well i havent seen most of the races this year) is just in car cams or following around the #24, #48, #8, and whoever might be leading. It's a dead sport to the older generation.

Give it some time and hopefully kerry will find at least a full ride again in the busch series. That might beg enough interest from me to watch a race other than dega and bristol.

i think it is a shame how miss earhardt has run DEI into the ground bet dale would be rolling over in his grave and bet if he was still living kerry would be in a DEI cup or bush ride because that seams like that was what dale was working up to the year before he passed with kerry in the ARCA series seems to me DEI has turned their back on him every since wish childress would give him a fulltime ride right now he needs a break from someone does not look like his family is gona do it

I wouldn't exactly say DEI was run in the ground by teresa, and Kerry has actually declined a DEI ride for another team.
