Dramatic price increase for JL's at Target (again)

4.59 for a Classic Gold, Chevy Thunder, Trucks SUV's 2. I was suprised that they only had a few cars left.

Look's like more Epaying for me. At that price the shipping charge don't seem that bad.

Well if they are like the Targets in my area, they only got one case of 12. I guess even at those prices if they get newer assortments they will move. But the pegwarmers will get dusty, quickly. At least Target has the good sense to clearance their cars quickly, before they achieve grand pegwarmer status (see Walmart )

I went to about three Targets, saw a total of five cars, (2,2,1), didn't even bother looking at the prices.

That is really strange as the targets in my area just lowered the prices from 3.99 to 3.24

At $4.59 a pop, they should be selling a lot, NOT!
Even a lot more peg warmers, even if they are decent castings as opposed
to all the licensed junk (see Clue, Universal Studios Monsters, Saturday Evening,
Post, Monopoly, Spiderman, et al).
By jacking up the price, they are certainly going to sell less.
Which may ultimately mean less stock and less new releases.
A vicious circle may have just started.
And it is the collectors who really suffer. Too bad and really sad.

Cheers. Cobra

I've noticed that all the stores have raised the price of JL's. Did just get a BWF Chevelle for 2.10 at K-Mart.
