Black Rims

I am seeing black rims on some 1/24th scales cars like this Chevelle. Have any of you seen these rims? I wonder if guys are taking rims from other cars and slapping them on the BTM cars. They look pretty sweet....

I was wondering the same thing. I saw a white Camaro with black stripes and black rims, he said it was hard to find, "rare". The pic looked the same too. Out of the box but on the stand. Makes me curious.

I guess thats the same as people on ebay putting box setted cars in regular boxed and calling them rare paint jobs.

I was reading through all of his cars on ebay. He has done a lot of them, yellow rims, gold rims. If you read his feedback it looks like he has sold a few stolen phones to people too.

Black Rims ???

the guy on ebay paints them, BUT*, i did manage to score a metallic orange 1;24 mustang with FACTORY black mesh wheels from a distributor. Ive also seen a metallic grey charger with the same. The box also has unique writing and such and from what ive learned, Jada made several cars with variances to just play around with the black wheels idea and gave them to varoius distrib's as promos. i also have 3 1:64 cars with the same deal, special wheels and liscense plates etc, all in factory blisters.
