There was a wonderful scene in one of the Avengers comics during the Civil War arc, where Iron Man tried to force Thor to register as a superhero and submit to government control. Thor took great offense, the amount of lightning was stupendous, and Tony's armor did NOT outlast Thor's anger. You do NOT piss off a thunder god.
