Hey guys i am getting with Big Steve to set up the dates for this season. I am looking forward to it drying up alittle to that i can get on the track and start moving dirt. I am hoping for the first race to be April but that may be a little premature we shall see. But for sure we will have a race in May.:thumbsup:
I have created a facebook page for the track so that you can see and ask questions about the track as the year goes on Here is a link, not sure if it will work but if it doesnt just look me up on facebook Chris Chmielewski and you can link to it from my page. https://www.facebook.com/pages/K-B-III-The-Outback/222245691195529
Looking forward to another great season at the OUTBACK,"more dirt, more dirt" ok we got that:thumbsup::thumbsup:. "Cover the Drivers Stand" we can do that:thumbsup: "Put something down on the driveway to the track" Assphault grinding on the way. "Have the MUGEN CHALLENGE earlier in the season so that the weather doesnt hurt it again. DONE
Cant wait to see you guys again and some new faces too:dude::dude:
Weather looks like it will be fine. 3pm till dark for $5 see you guys tomorrow. Remember the track is runable but by no means in the conditions we will have on race days. But still fun I ran three packs on it the other day:wave::wave:
Made the long trip down to the K & B track to see what was going on and lo and behold the Godfather of 1/8 e-scale was there burning tanks of nitro thru his Losi.
Also, checking out the track eco style was Rick D, Derek, Jeremy, and Greg.
Thanks for chance to test out my E-truggy, great track, I was in a hurry to leave and forgot to give chim a $5 so I owe you next time. The track is only about 15-20 min. away from my house, so I'll be back out next thursday if anyone else is interested in some practice.
I thought about it real hard CHIM, almost took the suggestion but I'll say #3 because im still a newb and think ill have trouble doing the double double triple. What do you think about next thursday practice? This time I will be there about 5:30-ish and only me ready to race some laps.
I am confused on who is running what this year Jim and Chris running electric , Doug running nitro , WTF ... I guess I will have to invent a 1/8th scale hybrid to keep up.
What are the class u guy run I like to come out first race watch or see just got back into Rc after 20 years with my boys but want to race. Not sure did home work on what people are racing before I spent money
I got a short course and revo3.3 no class for that probe I like nitro probable. Shouldn't have got revo but like big truck looking for 1/8 truggy nitrous but don't no what to get also got 1/10 truggy I could run the losi ten t but dosent sound like class for it either
You could run the Revo with the truggies. It has been done with great sucess in the past.
Your Ten T could be converted to a Ten SCTE with very little effort.
What is a good 1/8 nitrous truggy that wont break the bank or any one local have a used one for sale I live in chardon Ohio looking toward to commingled out to first race to watch then start racing
What time does it start may 6 want to at least come watch with my boys like to run but not sure been out of hobby so long I use to race in brook park 25 years ago as a young boy lot changed since then loo don't want to look stupid lol:tongue:
i grew up in brookpark and raced rc cars 25/30 years ago.
we raced at the vfw hall on brook park rd by the airport also
there was a track by the chi chi's on rockside and 77.
