Has anyone ever heard of this series of books and if there was supposed to be a movie of the same name coming out soon?

I first read these 20+ years ago. There were 2 seperate trilogys, I have trouble remembering which 3 books go to which trilogy, I believe the first book of the first trilogy was called The Illearth War. They were an entertaining read but I haven't heard anything about a movie.

Those are the ones I'm talking about!

1st Chronicles
First Book - Lord Foul Bane
Second Book - The Illearth War
Third Book - The Power That Preserves

2nd Chronicles
First Book - The Wounded Land
Second Book - The One Tree
Third Book - White Cold Welder

Any word on a movie? Someone told me they thought there was one in the works and I'm trying to verify this....

The first book of the 3rd series is out. The Runes of the Earth.
It's somewhat like LotR, but is it real or in covenants head? Quite an entertaining universe, but covenant is an buttpain.

Read the first book cause the cover looked interesting. Read the last two hoping someone would snuff the guy. Long and boring.
