I can hear you guys saying WHY tf did I think the AVP dvd release date was yesterday Dec 28th? RARE is it that I note a release date for a dvd, MONTHS ahead, and it not come out then.

Well I WAS DEFINETLY told months ago that yesterday it was going to be on shelves. Was'nt any of those blasted tentative release dates either! I'm sure video rental stores had Dec 28th date and it's on flyers.

It's NOT at my Target and it'd be there so I'm guessing it did'nt come out. Could somebody please tell me the release date?

I'm tellin ya it has been set back but nobody said s**t about it to me.

Amazon.ca has all 3 posted as available January 25th, 2005

Predator (don't know if there is anything different than the last release)
Predator 2 (Collector's Edition - 2 discs)
Alien vs. Predator

I will be getting all 3 as I only have the first one in full screen.

Well, I ASSURE you the release date WAS set back. I'm always the last person on Earth to know! A shopper at Target knew it was yesterday and he said another movie did'nt show when it was supposed to. I tell you that a video rental place had yesterday as the release date for weeks and weeks. On their coming soon board, flyers, etc.

NOW, it's like they never knew it. I've been lookng for a few reasons to quit buying dvds, I already have 2 and now there's 3.

no widescreen versions, no titles,no se and TOO MANY se versions of other movies and movies bumped for later release aside, what actually happenes every so often IS that before the prebook is announced, days to weeks earliar, some hoser on some chat board or in a news group will claim a movie will hit shelves on a certain date. The know-it-all is never challenged.

Brilliant me goes and makes a note of it on my calendar. A date that could'nt be more wrong! I just found out what a prebook is two days ago! I can go in a video store 50 times and never notice my date's wrong compared to their's b/c I don't have my calendar with me and notice.

Usually the prebook is never given in those same threads with the wrong dates.

The original Twilight Zone Definitive 1st Season collection was SUPPOSED to be released on the Dec 28th, but NONE of the retailers in my area received it. Costco didn't get it. I don't know if it is out anywhere else, but nobody I know has it.

AVP is supposed to be out.....in the USA...Jan 25th. That's been the prebook since October. Rarely wrong. I gotta buy SHAUN OF THE DEAD, already on shelves.
