I picked one of these up in a lot of cars I purchased recently (in mint condition)

The seller of this car on TTP says this is from the Wisconsin Toy Company...can anyone shed any light on this for me?
What or who is the Wisconsin Toy Company and how are they related to HW's?

Wisconsin Toy Company released 4 different Redline era cars with Redline Wheels in the early 80's. These came in Plastic Baggies with a blue and Yellow header card. I bought a bunch of them for 0.50 each at a Children's Palace back in 85 or so.

The cars were:

Warpath (AMX/2) in your picture
DuneDaddy - blue with flowers
Swingin Wing - yellow, without the wing
VW Bug - Orange, butterfly on top

All 4 cars had black plastic bases.

yea, it was the black plastic bases that usually doesn't give them as high a value as the regular issue counterparts... I would venture to say that the bug is the most popular...and it's actually a drawing of a beetle that is on the roof, not a butterfly.
..and speaking of these,,, even the rare 73 one, why did they bother to produce, let alone name it.."swingin wing" ..when it had no wing? looks stupid without it
