There is serious talk about that the owner of the Utah Jazz Larry Miller is going to build a NASCAR track here in Utah and in my home town even!!!
And I thought I would never get to see a NASCAR race.

NASCAR isnt run like Field of Dreams ( Build it and THEY will come ).
Just because someone builds a track doesn't mean NASCAR will go there. They (NASCAR) have to approve safety, access, garages etc ... Some guy here in Connecticut wanted to build a Bristol-like indoor facility and was telling everyone
that NASCAR was coming. NASCAR was not... and the townspeople denied his permits.

NASCAR (ISC) has however bought 600+ acres of land in Staten Island NY.
So if THEY buy it, and are allowed to build it, that is where NASCAR will be going.
