SOLD A FANTOM DYNO TO A GUY IN VERMONT $295.00 DEAL OF THE DAY I THOUGHT

SENT HIM
FANTOM DYNO
2-FLYWHEELS
ALL CABLES
AND A COPY OF THE TRAIL VERSION OF SOFTWARE(HERE IS WHERE DEAL WENT BAD )

HE EXPECTED A FULL VERSION OF THE WINDOWS PROGRAM WHICH I NEVER GOT WHEN I BOUGHT IT AND NEVER SAID IT WAS OR WAS NOT THE FULL VERSION

I TRIED TO PLEASE THIS PERSON BUY OFFERING IM TO GO 1/2 ON THE NEW SOFTWARE (SAID NO)

OFFERED TO RESELL FOR HIM
I FEEL IT WAS A MIS UNDERSTANDING AND HOPE HE CAN COME TO A REASONABLE SOLUTION

EVERYONE KNOWS MY HEALTH AND MONIES WERE USED FOR XMAS AND BILLS
SO I DONT HAVE IT

Was it posted at the time of sale that it was the trial version of software and the full version needed to be purchased for $75.00? If so then it's his and he needs to live with the fact that he "Assumed" it had the full version and you are not responsible for his mistake. If it was not stated clearly at the time of sale that he was only getting the trial version then it would only be right that he get his money back and you resale the dyno. I can say however that a complete Fantom Dyno for $295 shipped is a GREAT deal even if you have to spend an additional $75 for software. Just my 2 cents.

Tell him to piss off. He got a great deal, and now he feels bad about spending the cash. I've looked at your listing, and it states that the software is $75 from the SITE, NOT YOU! Unless this guy is a total idiot, he should have been able to figure out what he was getting. Did you ever tell him he was getting the full version of the software? If not, let him contact whomever he want's. The proof is in the post.

This is a resale of an item and most of the time the sellers are not going to spend the time listing all the details. And the buyer should have some responsibility and intelligence to research the item they are looking to purchase.
I own a Fantom dyno. I had a computer that stopped working and when I went to use the DOS based software installation disk to reinstall it there was an encryption that block me from using it. I contacted the software vendor and they told me I had to purchase new software and that ONLY the original owner could / should be using the purchased software, DOS or Windows.
The price of the dyno you sold to this guy was so low he could turn around and sell it for a profit, instead of wasting everybody’s time and money with his issues.

You lived up to your part of the deal and if he wants to take this further I wil support you in saying that the you lived up to your deal
If I had a laptop I would just buy this off of him myself. The price was right and the deal was right.

That is ONE heck of a deal.. and the fact that *YOU* offered to pay half or more for the software is awesome. If you just ignored him.. then sure, but it seems your trying to rectify the problem. If he is so unhappy, return it, return the money, whatever.. and stuff.

Nothing wrong with your post. I read the original when you posted it and not being a rocket scientist I understood it. You went a step above by offering to put 25.00 to it. Don't worry about the Attorney General. You did nothing wrong and have proof of the post. He misread it or just ignored it. He got a good deal, inform him to go pound salt. Heck I like the DOS version better anyway.

yep i agree, your a great trader and have excellent feedback and most everyone knows you! you didnt mislead him so dont worry about it, he is full of hot air about contacting an attorney (if he is bitching about $70 he dont have the money to get a lawyer)
but again, its not your fault so just let it go and discontinue your correspondence with him!

just sold my fantom. if you have the disk, dave will send you the unlock code. if not the dos ver. works better and is floating around everywhere. i still have a copy of dos on floppy if you need it guru. maybe it,ll solve your problems, no codes needed with dos.
