The new indoor track and hobby shop at Trax70 is nearing completion. there's going to be on-road (1/12th, 1/18th & Mini-T's) as well as oval racing. Hopefully Charlie will have pics posted of the tracks (work in progress) on the Trax70 forum tomorrow.

The Oval track will be open for practice on saturday. I should be there by 11AM until about 5ish. Tables aren't there yet so bring a small table and chair as well as an extension cord. Pits might be tight depending on how many show up. I don't think it will be a problem for saturday though. just get used to packin light.

This Wednesday I intend to be there by 6:30 for some on road practice. I put down a layout saturday after most everyone left and turned some laps with my carpet knife. 1/12th scalers are gonna love this track! one word.... intense

We're just getting things up and running right now, the planned schedule is wednesday nights for on-road and friday nights for oval. Saturday nights are still a toss up as of right now. The track is at :

Right now we are going to have practice this coming friday for oval and next wednesday night again for on-road. Hopefully start racing oval by next friday if we get the laptop for the AMB back from repairs in time. Once the hobby shop is open with set hours we'll determine what nights practice will be.

What a great night of racing once again! Congrats to George, Stan and Tony on their wins last night!
Congratulations to our indoor champs George White (1/10th) and Stan Brzezynski (1/12th). 1/10th scale points were so close there were ties for 1st and 3rd. George was tied with Jerry Billmeyer and it went down to who had the more 2nd place finishes to break the tie. Final point results are posted under the race results link to jlap on www.trax70.com

I also want to remind everyone that we are going to continue to run friday nights indoors and next sunday is our spring shakedown day on the concrete superspeedway!

Well every indoor season has to come to an end, and a great indoor season it has been... Hopefully the outdoor season will be as much fun! Over the summer I will be working on rules and classes for next fall when the Bullring starts up again. Any ideas or input is welcome!
