we just got our wireless dsl modem, the desk top and the living room lap top are both connected tothe web just fine, but how can i make the lap top use the printer that hooked to the desk top? desk top is me, and the LT is Xp

Make sure you have printer and file sharing active on the computer that has the printer hooked to it. Then use the add printer wizard on the LT to add a network printer.
