Hello, I was wondering if anybody could possibly help me. I am looking for a diecast vehicle that has an engine that looks like the one used in the 1/24th scale model "Beer Wagon". I am wanting to build a 1/64th version of this IMO awesome looking truck. :D Thanks in advanced for any help.

Cowboy88, Thanks for the info. I was not aware that JL made one. Do you by any chance know where I might be able to purchase one of these? Thanks again for your help.

Look up,"Johnny Lightning Wacky Winners Root Beer Wagon"on ebay.
....keep in mind that the velocity stacks need to be sawn to seperate the six pipes that are molded/cast into one blob.
I am currently creating as many Tom Daniel designs in 1:64 as possible.
Some day I hope to post the pics here.
Good Luck!!

btw,the "Collectors Edition" is the only one of the series that will be the correct color.
They also put "Root" Beer on the side instead of Beer.
Easy enough to cut "root" off the sticker though.

Robdog, Thanks a bunch for the info. Guess I should have checked on e-pay...
I would love to see your pics. I am making this to fit on a Aurora Slim Line chassis for running on the track.
Thanks again for the info.

Hey RobDog, I was able to get ahold of the 303 CE. But I guess my question still stands. Is there a car/truck out there that has an engine that looks like the one in the Beer Wagon... I am looking for a seperate enging (not cast in frame). Thanks again for you help.

None with stacks that I know of.
like I said cut between the stacks to seperate and remove what you need from the chassis.
You could also get some fine aluminum tube from your hobby stores,polish,pre-drill locations for stacks, then glue in place

Hey Thanks alot. I have been looking at the usuall places and didn't see any but I thought maybe some of the older cars or trucks out there may have had one. If push comes to shove I will come up with something. I don't have the wacky winner yet but from the picture it looks like the headers are molded into the chassis of the car. Which leads me to think that the top half (cosmetic at best) of the engine is a seperate piece. Anyway thanks again for your help. I will post some pic's on the slot board when I get it completed.
