I am trying to use the old software on a new laptop. The problem is that the computer does not see the dyno. It seems that everything is working okay (software) but when I hit the enter key to start the dyno, it does nothing? When I use the windows version it works fine??? Anyone else have this problem? I really can't make heads or tails out of the new windows version???HELP!

check in the dos software which port does it need to look at for the dyno. I had the same problem but can't remember if thats what fixed it or if I did something else too

I think I got it. Previously when I installed the dos version I didn't have the dyno hooked up to the computer and on. I tried it again with the dyno hooked up and on and it WORKED!!! Hooray, Hooray. Pass this info on to all those who have the same problem. Thanks and long live Hobbytalk!
