Just wanted to tell everyone that the new carpet has been installed.

The carpet is fanfair carpet which is the same carpet that they have in Glens Falls NY.

Get your practice in now before the Jan trophy race.

I raced on it yesterday and I must say it is really nice. No more dirttracking through the turns. I think once this carpet breaks in you will see 70 plus laps again in pro stock. One thing though and that is the track is just a little longer, when they tore up the old capet they realized that because all the carpet was the same color that they actually did not have the turns in the right place with the old carpet, we were actually running on the flat part of the turn. The new carpet is a different color on the infield so the were able to see where the transition was to place the corners, so technically the track is maybe 5 or 10 feet longer in the center line.

Anyway great job with the new carpet and a big thanks to everyone that had a hand in putting all together. The Jan. race should be some super tight racing all the way down!!!

The new carpet is awesome with tons of grip. The harder compound tires will work better now. Anyone coming for the January trophy race PLEASE sign up on-line. We have a spot on our website to pre-register. We will have to limit the number of drivers to 85 as that is all we have room for. Those of us at the March race last year remember 85 is it. We do expect to fill up and will cut off the sign up at 85 so please sign up today.

Another good crowd today, everyone is getting ready for Race#2 The New Years bash on 8-9 January 2005 which is only 3 weeks away. The new carpet is awesome, the lines are painted and the center barrier has been lowered so, we are ready to set new track records. Just a reminder, we will be open on 26 Dec and 2 Jan, the next 2 Sundays for racing so, come on over and get ready for the next trophy race. See everyone on Sunday.

Hi All,
Check with Leroy on the hot setup because, I think he has it. Good crowd this past Sunday but, no new track record, still at 69 laps. I have 41 people that have signed up on the website for The New Years Bash, if you know your going to be there please, pre-signup on the website www.barrerc.com (http://www.barrerc.com) , we will have to limit entries to 85 drivers, thats all that we have pit space for. The new carpet is awesome, it's just what we needed to bring back the consistancy. Well, 2 more weeks of practice before Race #2 hope to see you all there. Happy Holidays to Everyone
