It may always vary a little depending on the conditions, but everyone is saying pink rears/ purple fronts is a good starting point. Or 3 pinks with a purple on the RF.

Overall, you'll probably want the rear tires softer than the fronts.

Every track is different. Two flat concrete tracks may take completely different tires. I would never buy tires for a track until I found out what the regulars there run. You don't want to waste $60. One thing I do know is that you won't be using caps on a flat concrete track.

Sorry, I stand corrected about the cap thing. I've always run banked asphalt in the summers, other than the Velo. I didn't realize caps would hook up on a flat track. Live and learn. Anyway, like I said, your best is to do what the majority of the regulars do and then work from there.

I have run caps on a flat concrete track with good traction,I have also tested caps on what is a flat,asphalt, "foam" tire track and managed to get traction/good lap times with RED BSR's all the way around..

Normally though I try to run what everyone else runs + foams are alot cheaper..:thumbsup:

1.Yes
2.Too many to count,I like the Red's even if it is 100° outside.
3.2 tires out of the 2 sets I have bought for this year. One set managed to make it safe out of the short track racin last month..:rolleyes: ..The two tires didn't wear out though,more driver error because I busted the rims on both @ HW.
