After installing Windows 2000 Professional my HP printer hardware won't install and my Nero cd burner is not functioning properly. As far as the printer goes it prints backwards, if I'm printing 5 pages page 5 will print first to page 1. And Nero Goes through the process of copying the data fine but won't burn to a new disk even though it says it does.
Thanks, Dave.

 have you checked in the device manager for any conflicts? also you can go to system information and check for problem devices , could be in the bios , just sounds like the printer problem is in the settings

No conflicts. I read on the HP site that Windows upgrades may be needed. I downloaded a bunch of upgrades some didn't download though. When you mention bios are you talking about setup or upgrading the bios from Award Bios?
Thanks, Dave.

well the updates are going to be mostly about security stuff ,, you might pick up a dr iver update but it is not going to be anything t oo serious -about the bios flash man you really have to be careful <-((( verry careful if you flash the bios with the wrong one you end up with a paper weight so if you are going to flash it be careful --what i mean by the bios settings is yes setup :thumbsup:your printer problem sounds to me like it is in the settings not the bios / the nero i would go to add and remove programs and remove and reinstall it , , if it worked b-4 and not now it sounds like a folder is missing or maby a driver :freak: just m y 2 cents but i would stay from the bios flash

There is a setting in the HP printer driver to tell it what way to print pages. Look at the properties and there should be a check box for Reverse Order. BTW, most people use the "backwards" printing order so if you print 20 pages, page 1 ends up on top and you don't have to shuffle the pages to get them in the proper "reading" order.

Also, make sure you have the latest version (or updates) of Nero. A quick google on nero w2k shows the following page - http://www.nero.com/en/Nero_BurnRights.html
