As some may have noticed, where the word "eBay" is typed it becomes a link. I will explain why this is happening.
There has been much discussion on posting eBay links. We can discuss all we want but until we have a few facts and figures on just how much traffic we are driving to these auctions, we have no idea on what to do about them.
To try and get some info we have added a bit of code to add links to the word eBay. These links use eBay provided code to allow us to see the activity with these links. It is nothing that you wouldn't normally see on any eBay affiliate page.
So you might ask, what have I found? It has only been in place for 1 1/2 days and in those 1 1/2 days 13 bids or "Buy It Now" have been performed. I will have to wait a week or so to get a good idea of the overall effect.
Comments are welcome.
